Can we buy tickets on the night?

Yes, subject to availability.

The Box Office is open from one hour before the advertised starting time of a performance.  We accept cash, Visa or Mastercard.

Promo codes for special offers cannot be used at the Box Office.

If we buy tickets online, how do we get them?

You will be sent a confirmation email by the Box Office once the purchase is completed.

Your tickets will be held at the Box Office to collect from one hour before the advertised starting time of the performance.

What concessions do you offer?

New Theatre recognises pensioners, seniors, unemployed, full-time students and MEAA Equity members for concession price tickets. Valid ID must be shown when collecting any concession tickets.

WILL I HAVE AN ALLOCATED SEAT?

Our auditorium is General Admission and there is no allocated seating; you select your own seat once the doors open.

WHEN CAN I COLLECT MY TICKETS?

The Box Office opens one hour before the advertised starting time of each performance and the auditorium opens 5-10 mins before ‘curtain up’.

Do you have disabled access?

New Theatre is accessible to patrons using a wheelchair. Our foyer is on street level and our step-lift operates from the foyer to the rear of the auditorium where we provide two spaces for wheelchairs. The lift has a maximum rated load of 225KG. It is not designed to take very large or heavy electric wheelchairs or ride-on scooters.

Should you require mobility assistance of any kind, please ring 02 9519 3403 to book your tickets. We ask you arrive at least 20 mins before the performance and advise the Front of House Manager of your arrival.

Do you have special equipment for PATRONS WITH A HEARING OR VISUAL DISABILITY?

Seating at New Theatre is general admission, so patrons with a hearing or vision disability may choose to sit as close to the stage as they wish. New Theatre does not have a hearing loop or infra-red hearing augmentation system.

Guide Dogs and Service Dogs are welcome and our Front of House Volunteers will mind your dog during the performance and bring it to your seat at the interval and the end of the performance.

Do You have an accessible toilet?

We have an accessible toilet located off our foyer. There is also a baby change table in this facility.

Do you accept companion cards?

We are an affiliate of the Companion Card program. Please contact us on 02 9519 3403 to book tickets for you and your companion. If you require additional assistance, we ask that you arrive at least 20 mins before the performance and advise the Front of House Manager of your arrival.
