Arabian Nights

Adapted by Dominic Cooke

8 – 22 January 2011

Arabian Nights is magical theatre to delight all the senses.

Seven exciting folk tales, including Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves and Es- Sindibad the Sailor, are told within the larger story of the young Persian queen Shahrazad who, in order to save her life, distracts her husband the Sultan night after night with her spellbinding stories of romance, heroism, comic misfortune and epic adventure and eventually wins his love.

A dynamic ensemble of actors, belly dancers, musicians and puppeteers presents a gripping and entertaining piece of storytelling to enthral the whole family.
